BigRock - Website Service Provider + Giveaway

Last August, I was trying to get myself a website for my Photography business. After much research, i had settled upon an American service provider. I never thought of researching the Indian market under the sole impression that it would be expensive. I am not going to disclose the deal i got Ratzzz! for but I am also stunned by what i see at Bigrock.

Well, Tarun from Bigrock had written to me asking for to write a review on them and had promised a giveaway for my readers in return. I accepted after much deliberation 'cause I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this. But what the hey, i guess some of my readers if not everyone, are on the look our for some less expensive alternative to the pricey GoDaddy :D

The steps are pretty easy too.. no need to employ a designer to create your website err unlike me.. Vinay bhaai thanks :-D

I found their TV commercial very funny and to the point. Brilliant indeed.

An evening with Mr.Hitchcock...

When i got a call from an unknown number, i least expected it to be from Reni, of Indiblogger.. duh, i have at least three mobile numbers against his name already :| So What Reni did was entice me with tickets for a play at the Museum Theater.. Play: Hitchcock by the Stray Factory... Catch: i had to find a company all by myself.. bwahahahahaha... that was a tough one... so anyways i let the issue sleep and went about my regular work...

10 pm: Texted Feline to be my scape.. ermm company... well the cat accepted and was well trapped :-P buhahahahahaha..

we reached the venue a bit earlier (lets not go into the details :( ) so anyways we reached early and got bored by various activities which went something like below, not necessarily in that order.
  • walking around the Museum Campus
  • me recognizing a Cement sculpture as a stone carving *facepalms*
  • chased by and chasing mosquitoes
  • listening to Bournville ad nauseam ( you have to y-earn a Bournville, sigh i want chocolate.. *lookz longingly at the almost empty Nutella jar)
  • watching the promo ad ad nauseam ( sigh i even noticed the price of Joint family prices, which was cleverly disguised, thanks to typography... Tenga to anyone who thought they were free badges.. and to any one who is interested, they were priced at Rs. 40 each)
  • analyzing the design and build of the auditorium (Class 8, Physics - I love you)
  • and so on... (ok i zoned out a bit.. :D)

and finally, a gregarious figure walked over to the stage and started talking... if he had recited the whole lecture of Computational Mathematics with that voice, i would have listened to every word and would have said "How sweet.. awww..." So as i did later learn, this was Freddie, our emcee of the evening...Sigh...  ahem well as i was saying, he captured the crowd with his well rehearsed act, some spontaneous wit and clever weave of humor into his words... we love you,Freddie...

Act I:

First play  was "The Right kind of House" directed by Mathivannan Rajendran... the crew had a minimal of 4 artists and it was brilliant.. Loved the girl Sally(Lakshmi Priyaa) who played the Assistant.. perfect... Mr. Hacker(Aditya Gopalan) came across as bit to harsh or enthusiastic for my taste... i felt he was over reacting at places :| Mr.White(Sharavana Raghavan) was well... Mr.White(Mr.Waterbury in the original)... his adorable looks wouldn't have let him qualify for a murderer he is in the play, in real life... Evelyn Mulwray(Sadie Grimes in the original) played by Aiswarya added just the crunch needed for the play...

what i loved was the slow mix of past and present by using the two sides of the stage... brilliant use of space available..

Act II:

Next was Triggers in Leash directed by Vivek Hariharan... As Feline quoted Maggie(Nisha Krithivasan Subbarayan) is cute ;-) i would like to say she is an actress extraordinaire... They couldn't have chosen any more perfect actors for Dan and Red... played by Sandeep John and Rajiv Rajaram respectively it was fun to watch them duel, well almost :-)

ummm Maggie did u really serve them eggs/ham/breakfast or was it fake food?? Red ate it with gusto :-P

Act III:

The final play  was "The motive" directed by Gitanjali, Vivek and Mathi... previously i was always stunned by Mathi be his adaptation of "The Coffin’s Too Big for the Hole" or any other... but this time Vivek stole away the limelight brilliantly... and what expressions.. the scene where he plans to commit his motiveless murder, wow impeccable expressions... no words can match the act he put up...

Mathi was his goofy self today :) loved the play of shadows!

On the whole it was a brilliant evening.. and a brilliant ending... Sigh, yes Freddie winded it up...

Dear StrayFactory Entd, your plays were brilliant, but if you really care plz to start your plays on time... Don't follow IST (Indian Stretchable Time).. i guess we all do it at times.. 5 - 10 mins, any one can wait.. but a mind numbing 40 mins wait was dumb.. and the play was 90 long minutes without  a break.. what were u thinking?? be merciful to us poor souls who reach early... (no there were no early bird prizes! :| )

and i do hope i got the right names for all  the actors.. if i didn't, kindly point it out... either in comments section, or u know where to reach me...

Movies and d Baffled Rat...

i have seen checking out the movies, i missed out for a week now.. irrespective of the reviews, i am just indulging myself in this movie marathon...

the otherday i was watching Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd... i already knew that this movie dealt with knick-knacks of relationships.. i had no issues with the bengali couple rediscovering their Lost love after marriage... nor did i have a problem with the movie addicted Pinky's over sweetness and fantasy land, not even her screeching voice disturbed me... man, i was even ok with the marriage of convenience btw Madhu and Bunty.. I loved Oscar and Naheed's mature love and even Hitesh-Shilpa-Jignesh love triangle didnt irritate me much, but i shud accept it sounded creepy wen everytime Shilpa goes "GOd..  help me this one last time, i wont ask u again" routine... But wat the hell.?? wat was that?? The characters Aspi and Zara??? wr did they come from?? Superheros?? Choke choke splutter har har.. wat was that??? seriously.. one moment i was grinning over the sweetness and d next moment i was sitting with this incredible expression on my face.. Priceless, i say, Priceless... that too Abhay deol!! man i had High respects for this guy!! how can he let me down like this??

other day it was "Arthur and the Minimoys".. now those who now me will certainly know abt my fascination for Animated Movies.. completely loved this one.. Madonna's voice made me drool over the princess.. ok don't get me wrong here...:-P and i wud have happily accepted the Aspi and Zara character here rather...

Ah!! "The Mirror has two Faces"... this clearly bowled me over... the movie says a relation is a mixture of Love, Commitment, Lust and little bit of everything... Barbara is d ugly duckling transforming magically from the heavy, frustrated to the confident woman... Jeff Bridge with his own theory abt marriage and sex makes, u laugh out loud yet impresses u with his protective and caring nature... his love for Barbara, and the inability to show it clearly moved my stone heart... but Wat the hell was Pierce Brosnan doing there... i clearly have no idea abt him.. i wud rather prefer him as Bond comeback...

this was another crap movie, i watched yday nite.. .Mera Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye... i cud very well understand the House Wife's frustration wen she discovers her husbands illicit relation and strives to make her own life.. but wat was that Khwab character played by Randeep Hooda... Just wen i come to like him and the Juhi girl, they go and play this character... the first scene that features him as an Adonis asking for a cup of coffee had me literally laughing out loud and rolling abt on my bed.,.. Please guys spare us the horror.. but thinking again we need such specimens for a laugh or two..

P.S # Ppl i am readin this "The Palace of Illusions" by Divya Bannerjee and am completely bowled over.. i really want to lay my hands on Manu Samhitha or Manu smrithi.. anyone knows wr i can get a copy of the transcript.. i already have the original version on Mahabharatha.. its these Manuscripts i want... please please let me know ppl...

Skin show -unlimited...

yup Madhu Bhandarkar's reality movie Fashion... My take on it..

Piggy Chops aka Priyanka chopra : Now how old is she yaar.. looks chic in every shot... The change of Attitude to arrogance.. the fab expressions.. the confidence, d insecurity... this girl just got herself a new fan...

Kangna Raunat : had loved her always.. n d role suited her fine... felt bad for during the ward-robe malfunction scene but couldnt bring myself to believe that actually crying follows it in reality...

Fashion World : Well i believed that something similar happens there, so no surprises...

Other Lukka-chukkas and yada yada's : Well this was entirely a Piggy Chops movie so Line up at the back everyone... Yeah i am talking to u Arbaaz khan," i liked ur Tattoo, yup.. but u are just another male chauvinist"
and hey u Arjan Bajwa, "if u can't understand ur partner who are u gonna understand??" and haan, don't think i am gonna leave u out Ashwin Mushran,"actually i liked u.. sweet helping poor MM till d end" and yeha Janet "You wr gorgeous too.. so was ur husband"...

Gayness : Spare Me d horror... :-P either the guys are freaking gays or Fornicators using the gals and guys equally... yucks...

:-) watchable...

Half Century....

Statutory Warning:  Reading long blogposts can be injurious to health... /*now don't u say, i didn't warn you*/

So finally SA made a half century... we celebrated his 50th birthday this Saturday without much ado...  d plan was that SA and yours truly, Rat spend the whole day, cook, frolic and host the party... really trust the Rat to spoil all d plans... i woke up as late as 11 in the noon... (Note to self: Don't take ur pencil and sketch book the nite before a big day.. Note to Readers: will scan and upload the new sketches someday...)  without any announcement i reached SA who was sitting, fuming regd my absence... he had finished his bfast and here my stomach was doing rock n roll.... :-( hogged upon few dairy milks...R was away at school so i grilled SA about his funlist... he went on bluffing that he wanted to see his sons happy, build a dream house... a hit in the head with a pillow made him come to his sense and he blurted out about taking a walk in his farm, run around the nearby park and watch a movie... it may sound weird, guys , but our DEAR SA hasn't done all these simple things for past 4-5 years... these CEOs have a tough life, i say....

Cooking together was out of question as SA's mom called up from US of A and commanded to get a fav cook of hers to cook us(oops for us)... who can parry a supreme court order, huh? the cook filled the house with mouth watering aroma, while i hunted out the DVD collection of SA... man, that was an awesome collection... we picked up a couple of movies and ended up doing a marathon with 5 movies back to back....

**Bling BLinG blINg** spoiler alert spoiler alert: but all of these are classics/old ones..so no harm there...

Sons of Desert :
a Laurel and Hardy classic.... it starts with L and H attending a fraternity meeting.. they are to attend a convention at Chicago...  L is reluctant stating his wife wont allow and H assures him.. back home wat happens is complete opposite with Laurel's wife allowing him and Hardy's wife planning for a trip to mountains instead...

a complete riot follows with H trying to deceive his wife with false sickness (L actually gets a Vet instead of a Doc) and going to Chicago... but gets caught as all husbands do...

Real LOL moments: H makes a bed in attic and L thanks him saying "Well, for the meticulous care with which you have executed your finely formulated machinations, in extricating us from this devastating dilemma."

L says to H's wife : oh he is suffering from Nervous Shakedown

L : Honesty is the best Politics

L gets caught eating a wax apple.. H's wife "Oh, so that's where it's been going. That's the third apple I've missed this week."

:-D

We Faw Down :
yet another L n H classic... L n H plan for a poker game but say their wives that are joining their boss for a play at Orpheum Theater...   On the way to the poker game, they run into a couple of women who have lost a hat under a car. While they attempt to retrieve the lady's hat, a street-sprinkler soaks them with water. Soaking wet, they go to the girls' apartment to dry their clothes. Meanwhile the girls flirt with them. Unfortunately, one of the girls BF bursts in on the two couples and chases the boys from the apartment. Meanwhile, a fire has burned down the theater that day, and Laurel and Hardy have a lot of explaining to do when they return home...

LOL moments: H imitates wat they saw at the theater ignorant of the mishap occurred.. L gives hints but H mis-interprets and its a real LOL riot... ultimately L notices the headline and the moment has no words to explain... :-P

Sister Act:
Whoopi Goldberg's movie.. had me in splits.... Deloris Le Cartier is a singer in love with a married mafia leader... she does a flip and reaches d police when she sees a murder... d police hide her in a convent as a nun... how she overcomes all this mess is real fun to watch.. a feel good movie (i would prefer watching this with my dream date, hmmm.... dreamy eyed and cough cough)..

Moments to watch out for:
Vince, d lover gifts her a mink coat after a tiff, Deloris is touched until she notices the coat embossed with Vince's wife's name... transformation of anger into happiness and back into outrage is something Whoopi does beautifully here...

Mother superior assorting thru Deloris clothes and finding myriad colors.

Deloris:i look like a penguin (after wearing the Habit)

The scene wr a couple of nuns visit a Pub and start dancing... LOLzzz

The choir's transformation from a drag to lively concert...

I LOVED this movie...

Anger Management:
another hilarious movie by Adam Sandler... pity that i saw its spoof before watching this original... Yeah Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and yet another tamil movie were made on similar lines... so the novelty went amiss...
and at times i got irritated by Jack Nicholson...

watched a couple of SA's pick..not able to remember the name as it was all Spanish... he he he :P

then the cake arrived...
Had a blast... finished dinner, sent R to bed , talked to SA for some more time and returned home very late at nite...

the day evoked many hidden (never forgotten) memories... went to walk with Vicky... actually speaking, i was walking around alone and it was 11 in the nite.. wen Vicky knew this he ran to join me and returned home, only after  i was safely tucked in my bed.... its a different story that i didn't sleep a wink..

Did i miss??? the dinner menu arrayed between peas n aloo sabji, Paratha, Jeera pulav and mouth watering Chicken Hyderabadi.. Chocolate Pudding was awesome as the dessert...

i got the ground under my feet... atlast...

Atlast...... we have this monthly business presentations and i started giving my Dept's since Feb.... eventhough i am strong footed while presenting i always got jelly legged when the confrontation part came up...

This time i let a colleague present and i found myself confidently answering the management's questions.... Whoa!! Self Patting.... now i think i can confidently face both presentation and confrontation part...

too much myth muddles ur mind..

  • Get a Willy Wonka.. feed him more eccentricity and cast him as d evil wizard aka asur..
  • pull a Mummy Returns thru sand storms resembling faces and train in desert scenes..
  • get some HP type special effects...
  • borrow some Video game animations from the 11 yr old kid next door...
  • rope in a sultry looking erm.. bodyguard, whose is good at guarding something else.. cough cough
  • get one so tall dumb mute guy as a hero..
Voila... u got Drona- Protector of..oh crap...

who d hell said Rajasthan == Bright-burning-your-eyes-jumping-out colors.... even a conch was colored bright purple and decorated with bright glass pieces and sequins...

and say swear...i have never seen a floor painted so so yellow and embedded glasses.. nor a bright orange wall.. nor so bright pink doors... may be i am wrong.. who knows...

and there is this Cruel Asura Riz Raizada who clones himself with a drop of blood... wat d f?? $%^#

it was just too much specil effects for me to sit back and enjoy... wat to do?? this hapless mind seeks logic everywr...

Abhishek and Priyanka better luck next time...  it was more of a kiddie movie...

One-liner:
forget a line... not even a word...

200 bucks down the gutter...

how-ever may be the movie, i haven't felt this much let down before.. wat i even watched Singh is Kinnng twice...

This was a utter let down.. sob sob sob....

first this is baseless... Imran goes beyond limits to make Sanjay Dutt realize his mistake committed in anger... wat more actually it was Imran at fault from scene one, still tries to prove his innocence...

Imran as a kid steals a car from Sanjay, only that his daughter comes as a bonus and they end up in an accident... Imran says he takes the car to save his hurt friend... Wacko, isn't asking the owner better way than stealing a car... dumb ass dumb ass..

he is sent to juvenile jail where is ill treated... bonus he learns hacking and stuff in a juvenile jail... choke.. cough cough... of all things... man, i can bet my last loaf of bread that the police at a JJ can't tell Gmail and Ymail apart.. then wr did he learn all those hacking stuff.. heh??

then Minisha lamba is 18 yr old in the movie... i had never seen a raunchy, lithe, loin some 18 yr old before.. agreed i wear loose baggy stuff to bed but never this.. err.. exposing.... wat more she looks like 30+ plus and top this Vidya Malvade is her mother.. wat d heck???? i can put her as 18 yr old but Minisha, NEVER!!!

Sanjay Dutt jumping across tall buildings, flinching prisoners, robbing under the nose of this adversary,.... incredible incredible... Akshay Kumar bow down.... here comes the next Khiladi Khan... Khiladi Dutt???

I was expecting all time, Imran to break into a jig with Lamba "Singing but your Papa can't Jump saala...."

the initial caricature depiction of Imran's jail life kindred some hope on me only to be put off by Minisha's explosive... hmm workout????

my only relief... it wasn't me who paid for the tickets this time and we never thought abt getting popcorn.... wow i ll invest this 500 bucks in something productive... may be another movie tomm???

One liner:
KIDNAP - Get yourself kidnapped INSTEAD......

Stupid common man...

Take Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, put them as lead protagonists and wat results is two hours of mind numbing bliss...
Impeccable  performance and even more incredible plot.. this is the type of movie which resurrects your hope on the failing media industry... this is the type of movie which you want to watch n number of times and never regret it...

There is the stony faced Jimmy Shergill who perfectly potrays his staunch Policeman and says "Bolke tho maar diya ho tha" (Atleast say before shooting) instead of screaming when hit by a bullet... Rogues and Explosive trafickkers shiver and pee just looking at him... wat more he hits his own constables wen they go wrong.. wat if no body else likes u Jimmy?? i Love you dear darling...

There is this Aamir Bashir as Jai.. married and with a kid... each expressions played on his face tells d story.... muah....

And then the wanna be reporter Nayna (now who is this chick???)... hilarious touch... otherwise normal voice changes into a funny kinky one wen she faces d cam... U rock babe...

The head constable, the hacker kid and all those supporting characters who try to save Naseerudin Shah at the end.. beautiful beatiful...

Anupham as the Police Commissioner... Fantabulous choice.. the moment when he meets Naseeruddin... man epic re-defined scene... kudos to both of them...

Mr.Shah... the stupid common man.. he cruises thru the whole movie as smoothly as a swan... Are u taken Mr. Shah??

impeccable planning and update with all d technologies.. even though i cud i identify and relate to call jumping and routing stuff was stunned Hindi film industry knows it too... definitely we have graduated long from running around trees and two straws in the same drink stuff...

And yes.... this was the first movie Vicky didnt complain abt... So there we go Hip Hip Hurrah... wait may be he didnt complain due to the hot chick seated in front of him.. Hell who cares i loved the movie...

PS # We Watched A Wednesday on a wednesday... how is that??

EVe-aaaaaa......

NP and me decided to check out the new Pixar movie Wall-E yday suddenly... Later MY joined us...

I reached PVR a little early and was checking out the Archies, when the two ladies called up saying they reached... we went to the plex only to be said by the ticket -vendor "Can u wait for 2 mins?? i'll check if they are running the show.. only you three have shown of for the movie..."

dunno why but they decided to run it.. we were both exuberant and sceptical given that we will be the only soul... damn, to top it was a late nite show... or to quote MY "Sighs there wont be any guys to check out" Damnation....

anyways as we entered, a group of kids joined us... that lifted our spirits....

Spoiler Alert # U can continue as i am sure lot many guys and girls out there rarely watch a animated movie...

The initial ten minutes were awesome with "Presto, the magician and his Rabbit"... It was hilarious with Presto trying to perform his stunt and the Rabbit deffering him (as he was not fed a carrot)... Many unfortunate incidents after the Rabbit rescues Presto and the show ends... Then the Movie started...

The main character is Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) with a pet cockroach... the solar powered robot's main job is to compact trash and to deposit them in piles for easy removal... being the last of its kind and being alone for 700+ years it has acquired some sense and emotions... its forlorn presence is changed when EVE (Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator), is deposited on the Earth by Axiom, a space ship... its a love at first sight for Wall-E.. he tries hard to impress EVE only to be blasted by her retractable plasma cannon...

EVE's directive is to bring any plantation available on earth... and our poor hero presents her with a plant without knowing this.. this is followed by Eve getting deactivated, going back to Axiom, Wall-E following it and incidents involving plots, trust, love, betrayal and eventual happy ending.... Go here to read the full story ...

Moments that made me LOL...
$ Eve asks Wall-E wats his directive.. he shows his compacting method which actually comes at as a slush.. wen Wall-E questions back Eve says "Directive...(haughtily) Classified"
$ Wall-E trying to impress Eve, dances around... Eve joins in, only to produce an effect equivalent to Earthquake...
$ The Way Wall-E calls Eve... "Eveee-aaaaaaaah.... Eveee-aah?"
$ The behavior of HAN-S during the a fight sequence involving the Security Squad and the malfunctioning robots
$ The Human Kids being taught A for Axiom, B for B n L and so on...
$ Mary to john, "Get ready to have some babies" (on catching the falling babies)
$ The Pet cockroach walking to and fro like an anxious father outside the operation theatre while Eve fixes Wall-E
$ When Captain exclaims "We can cultivate anything.. Vegetable Plants, Pizza Plants..."

 .... and so many more...

Things made me smile...
* The emotions were easily understandable, given the protogonists are robots and practically no dialogues...
* Wall-E inprets holding of hands as a sign of love...
* The Electric Kiss btw Wall-E and Eve, and d dance that follows

...and so many more...

A must watch movie...

Hum jo mile pehli baar...maine jaanaa kya hai pyaar...

Hold On!!!!  Atlast got to watch the much hyped movie... wanted to watch since d first positive review came out.. but wat to do, given the bottlenecked work schedule and stupid show timings, i gave it a miss so far....

Saturday came and i got some time to breath finally.... off we went to PVR cinemas (we== Vikky and me).....

Time 7 10 pm.... And lo behold..... ROCK ON!!!

I like Arjun Rampal rite from his "Ek Ajnabee" time so was looking forward for the manly, Handsome, smart... cough cough.... Farhan was ok types.... Loved Purab Kohli as Killer Drummer... he is the lively soul of the movie.... Luke Kenny, man wat a performance.....

Spoiler Alert # All, who havent seen this yet stop here... by all means are u requested to go watch the movie....

Prachi Desai as Sakshi Shroff played her Insecure house-wife smoothly... Let it be saying " I wanted you to know about my pregenancy when you are happy.. but now i dont know even if u are happy hearing this" to her harried Husband or be it glowing with pride and happiness when he starts jamming with his friends again... Prachi SHINEs... Ya Ya Roshan, her smile Dazzles....

Shahana Goswami as Debbie Mascarenhas reminded me more of my SIL who constantly nags my bro... stylist turned into business women (fish monger??) turned into stylist... *Phew*... did wonderful henpecking on Arjun @ Joe....Roshan i liked her smile too....

Arjun Rampal as Joseph 'Joe' Mascarenhas... atlast he gets a role to remember... the demure Joe has less dialogues and more screen presence... liked the final 10 minutes when shakes off Debbie's hand and moves towards his dream... Ermmm actually loved the scene when he strums his guitar on stage, eyes closed, with wind blowing on his face.... It YELLED passionate music.... me went butter knees..... Sighsssss....

Farhan Akhtar as Aditya Shroff.... already much written on him in blogsville.... nothing more to add..

Purab Kohli as Kedar Zaveri aka Killer Drummer aka K.D is the back bone of the movie... Positive attitude, constant smile (no, he is not the Joker) and being there to pep u up kind of guy... pity he wasnt a success with girls.... ;-P Loved the drumming sequence when MAgik performs for the last time...

Luke Kenny as Rob Nancy.... dunno why.. but thought he was a gay for most of the movie... saw the anguish in his face wen Debbie encourages Joe before their first on stage performance.. dunno if it was yearning for love or something else.. i will never know... :-(

Moments that made me love the movie:

* The correct blend of flashbacks with current times without spoiling the flow....

* When Sakshi presents a guitar to Aditya...

* Debbie's complain that the fish smell never leaves her hands...

* The smile and pride on Andy's (Joe's son) face when he watches his father jamming with his friends...

* Anguish of Tanya when aditya leaves her and understanding he wont be back...

All in all.. a great movie after a long time to sit back the be nostalgic about your college days....

That evening i called wookie to say i finally watched the movie... The ensued conversation

Wookie: Ek baath boloon... gussa tho nahi karegi na... (Shall i say something?? hope u wont get angry...)
Barbie/Rat : Haan Bol.. (yeah, spit it out)
Wookie: I didnt Like Farhan Aktaar
Barbie: So... Wats in this...
Wookie: Oh i tot u wud have liked him...
Barbie: ????@#$%^&

Dumbass...Dumbass...  Rest assured Wookie... for a change i didnt like this debut actor....

Poof... now u are not there...

First half was spent grudging away that if we made a wrong decision ans second half was clutching Vikky's hand and my Om pedant tightly....

Poof... Phoonk... yet another Dekn.. cough cough Darna mana hai types from Vermaji... Our collective comment was that Vermaji wanted to proove that showing Daily house hold objects in close-up angles, hysterical laugh, Big round eys and crows can evoke fear... he failed miserably....

Spoiler Alert # Movie dissection ahead.. skip if u plan to watch the movie.. thinking again read on... you may be saved from the movie ticket and popcorn cost...

Brownie Point 1: Impeccable performance from Sudeep as Rajiv, Ahsaas Channa as Raksha and Zakir Hussain as Murtaza Kapasi...

Sudeep (was he handsome... mmmm) emoted the successful businessman and the harried father role as smooth as the Swiss smoothie i had at Barista... ;-) The Kid Ahsaas is the Lifeline of the movie... Be it calling her kid brother as double dumbo, or frankly saying "i don't like her" or laughing in 'mardana' voice or flying in air... she has done a great job for her age....

Zakir as d baba rmoving black job has d best dialogues in the movie....

Murtaza: What do u do when u get fever?
Rajiv: I take Crocin
Murtaza: Whats in Crocin that u believe it to cure your fever
Rajiv: I don't Know
Murataza: Just because ur parents and doctors say u believe in Crocin.. then wats the difference between medicine and God.. Got any answers??? (rite on cue a pot breaks by itself) Some things Don't Have answers

Brownie Point 2: The dream Rajiv has.... awesome mirror sequence.. watch the movie to understand...

Brownie Point 3: The dialogues....

I really don't know why there was this crow in every possible scene.. in one scene it was sitting with its wings spread out (in "Nachon anarkaliyon Mudra" posture) Hilarious..... Then they tried to pull out a Mummy sequence with a spider entering into the traitor driver's body... Ashwini Kalsekar as Madhu tries vainly to frighten you with her hysterical laughs, weird expressions and rolling eyes... i tot she was playing a retarded character and tot of mentioning it to Aamir to make a sequel to TZP....

We were eagerly waiting for a fright sequence in pre-interval.. we even made the harmless servant maid, Mother and a giraffe model into Ghosts... sighs.....

My take on Phoonk # Go sit in d cineplex lobby enjoying your hot-dog, popcorn and Soft drink... enter the audi post interval and enjoy the movie.. you wont have missed much...

Ppl who accompanied me: Vikky, Zuhhu and Rusty....

:-)

Swell....

This wat i feel now...

the reason... this..

all i can say is... Thanks Billy Mac... u da man....
